Dani

Office Manager

Dani is originally from Portsmouth, a naval town on the south coast of England, and at the age of 16yr, made the big jump across the pond to Canada.

She lived in Saskatoon for several years, but eventually decided to move out to beautiful Kamloops with her husband, Jordan.

From a young age Dani knew that she wanted to pursue a career with animals. Throughout the years she has been in multiple roles focused on animal welfare, but for the past 5 years she has shifted her attention to clinic management.
She has taken part in numerous projects within Kamloops such as spay and neuter programs, low-income assistant programs, and community outreach and education.

Dani started with our sister clinic Neighbourhood Veterinary Hospital in January 2023, to not only oversee the clinic, but to put all her knowledge and experience into helping Dr Broschak and Dr Helmers, with opening Phases Veterinary Emergency Hospital. Behind the scenes Dani is a busy lady, always making sure daily operations are running smoothly, and all staff, clients and patients feel welcome.

Outside of work, Dani loves hiking, camping, yoga, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She pursued a career as a veterinary technician by attending Old’s college and graduating in 2011. Kahlia

Lead VA

Hi my name is Kahlia and I am one of the Lead VA's at Phases Veterinary Emergency Hospital. One of my key roles at Phases is to make sure our VA team has all of the training and resources they will need, so your pets get the best possible care while in the hospital.
Through my career as a VA, I have discovered my personal interests within the veterinary field include nutrition and emergency trauma. In the near future I plan to take the veterinary technician course at TRU, so I can continue to help animals within the community.
I am kept busy outside of work with my kitten Aayla, horseback riding on the family farm, and spending time with my fiancé.

Chelsea

Hello! My name is Jeovanna and I work as a VA at Phases Veterinary Emergency Hospital. I grew up in a small town called Lillooet and moved to Kamloops in 2022 to attend TRU and study sciences. I’ve always loved animals and had an interest in veterinary care. I spent my childhood with chickens, cats, and dogs. When I came to Kamloops, I finally got the chance to gain some experience in the veterinary industry. I obtained experience working as a veterinary assistant at another clinic after receiving my certificate in animal welfare through university. Working at Phases has helped me in deciding on my future career. I would like to attend school to become a veterinary technician, and I hope to start soon. On my days off, I like to visit my family in my hometown and travel to different cities to see my friends. I enjoy reading, biking, hiking, exploring, and spending time with my loved ones.
